The Internet has made everybody's lives much easier nowadays. Things which were difficult to access or reach at one's convenience are now within the reach of people. In the same way, even the intense sport of motocross racing is made available online to people who want to be motocross racer. There are mx training videos available online which are hosted by some of the most trained racers across the world. These show the beginners motocross tips and the basics that all racers must know before progressing to the pro level. Other than these invaluable training videos there are certain training websites that have been created mainly for the purpose of giving online training guidelines for motocross racers whether they are beginners are hard core professionals. There are separate training guidelines for beginners and other strategies and tricks for the professional motocross racers.

Among the Beginners Basics, newbie’s are taught everything from the basic parts of a bike, to learning how to take care of their own machine, starting the bike and all the first time features that later become like second nature to bikers. All this are taught to the novices other than the basic ways to ride a bike safely.

Then there is a section that trains you to position yourself accurately onto your bike. Positioning is all important and affects the rider and his speed on his machine. There are different ways in which a rider should position himself and this includes how to position your body around a corner, basic attack position, when to sit and stand, how to position one's body on different types of terrain the all important starting techniques.

Then comes the training on braking technique. One of the most important aspects of motocross biking is the technique of using the front and back brakes. Brakes are not only used for stopping your machine but also as a part of other stunts like cornering, jumping and also in the whoops. This is one of the main ways of controlling a bike, and is therefore vital knowledge.

These sections are followed up with training on different types of terrain including mud, sand, hard pack, marbles and others, Tons of tips are added as to how to handle the bike on different types of terrain. Then comes the cornering technique, followed by the Holeshot tips where everyone wants to know the secret of being in the first top around the very first corner. It is a very important strategy for a motocross racer. This is followed by ways to enter the underground world of motocross racing which is still not a mainstream sport and therefore very tough to locate and enter.

The training modules also include tips on passing and jumping and ideally include a lot of practice exercises for the beginner motocross racers. Leave your comments for motocross training online and we will post it to the site. Include some of your best tips or other site information that will be helpful to the new dirt bike riders young and old.

This bike has been predicted to be untouchable on the motocross track regardless of who is riding it. It has a newly designed fuel injection system, a first for this size engine. Honda designers made the decision to revert back to the single exhaust pipe on this 2010 model because of so many rider requests. This bike is going to sell out- you better a find a waiting list to put your name on now before its to late!

The sleek and efficient 2010 Yamaha YZ250F:
This new Yamaha dirt bike is said to be a “monster on the track.” It has more improvements that any other 2010 model in its class. What You Must Know About Gear and Helmets
Motocross is an enticing adventure that is filled with tons of fun, excitement, and adrenaline rushes. However, this is a sport that can provide dangerous turns and enormous challenges. You need to be prepared with the proper gear as well as helmet in order to provide yourself with adequate protection for all the danger loopholes and challenges that you will face during practices and races.

The Importance of a Motocross Helmet
Let’s start with the most important piece of gear that you need when performing Motocross – a helmet! Strong materials are made in the construction of Motocross helmets in order to provide adequate protection for the rider. By wearing a helmet, you are helping to protect your head from any critical damage that could occur should you and another rider crash or if you just land too hard and crash into the ground. Some people fear that they will have trouble breathing if they wear a helmet and that they will get too hot; however, this shouldn’t a concern to the rider as there are special vents constructed into the helmet that keeps the head of the rider cool and enables you to breathe. Due to the excessive sweating of a rider during practice or a race, the liner of the helmet should be removed and washed after each wear.

Choosing the Right Pair of Goggles
The second piece of gear that is vital when riding Motocross is goggles. The goggles are made to work with the helmet in the protection of the eyes, face, and the entire head. When choosing a pair of goggles, you should make sure that they are not tinted (most don’t come tinted, though) and that they are shatter proof! You also need to make certain that they are comfortable for you to wear. In other words, make sure that the proper padding is in place and intact around the outside of the goggles where the goggles will be meeting your face. When adjusting the strap of the goggles, you need to make sure that it’s long enough to go around the entire helmet (not just your head) and be tight enough that they won’t slip while you are riding. An accessory that you can purchase with your goggles would be clear tear-offs. In case dirt, debris, or mud is thrown in your face from the track and you aren’t able to see very well, you can tear off a strip and have a clean view again.

Tips in Choosing Motocross Clothing and Gloves
The next piece of gear that I’m going to discuss is clothing and gloves. You want to make sure that you purchase a jersey, pants, and gloves that are comfortable to wear, lightweight, and very well ventilated. The jersey should be made of mesh in order to provide proper ventilation. With the pants and jersey both, you want to make certain that that they are comfortable for movement – don’t purchase the gear wear too tight or you won’t be able to move properly on your bike and could cause damage to yourself, your bike, and other riders.

All of this information provided is important as this is a sport that requires you to be on a bike and jump huge mounds, causing you to go one foot after another into the air, resulting in a rough landing – possibly even a crash! Without the proper gear and helmet, you could wind up critically injured or worse.  So, remember, make sure to always wear your helmet and your gear when riding whether you are practicing or racing.  It’s always critical!

How to Prep for Your First Motocross Race

So, the time has finally come to perform in your first Motocross race.  Are you nervous, excited, and scared?  You are probably all of those about right now, but it’s okay.  Some simple motocross techniques will help you get through the night before and the morning of the race.  Let’s take a look.

First of all, you want to make sure that you get a good full night’s rest the night before the motocross race.  Yes, it may be hard to sleep, but you need to make sure you receive adequate sleep; otherwise, you won’t be able to race at your fullest potential.  Because you need your rest, if you are staying in a hotel in the town that the race is being held in – book ahead by all means!  Not booking ahead could lead to a disastrous night before the race because you may be sleeping your vehicle at the track!

When you first arrive, you need to go walk the motocross track.  It doesn’t matter whether it’s a day or two before the race or if it’s the morning of race day, you need to walk the track.  Why?  You do this so that you can take note of any specific wet spots that could potentially turn into ruts as the day progresses as well as any other problems with the track – such as holes to avoid or larger hills that you aren’t quite used to.

On race day, there is a normally a motocross rider briefing.  This is something that you need to go to.  At this briefing, they will explain to the riders about their starting procedures, rules, and regulations.  In addition, if there have been any changes to the lineup or schedule, they will inform the riders here, which is one reason that the briefing is so important.

Check out your bike before you leave the house and when you get to the track.  There will be professionals there that go around to check each and every rider’s bike prior to the race to ensure that rules have been followed and that your bike passes particular bike inspections.  Make sure you’ve read the latest handbooks on the rules and regulations so that you don’t have something illegal on your bike.

Utilize the practice sessions.  You’ve never been to this track, possibly never been to a single track at all; therefore, you don’t know what to expect.  Don’t go too fast on your first lap so that you can take a look at the track as you did when you walked it and take note of anything you see.  Determine the best lines for entry and exit in the corners.  The second lap is when you should go a little bit faster and practice those entry and exit lines in the corners.  This is also when you should take note of any obstacles that you incur so that you can try to fix the problem.  This is the best time to do so because you don’t want to be on the track, actually racing, and have to worry about sudden obstacles and have to quickly come up with a solution.

Last but not least, have fun!  It’s your first race so it’s going to be a little bit difficult!  Use all you have and enjoy it! Your first motocross race will be the one that you remember for all your life. It’s been almost 30 years since I had me first race and I will never forget it.

Motocross Nutrition Tips

You woke up early this morning, checked your bike for loose bolts, gas, etc. It’s time to get ready for the upcoming Motocross season. So, you go out and practice all day on your bike. You practice your old stunts, create new stunts, and just work on getting everything perfect.

So you’ve been working all day; out in the heat, sweating like crazy! You are completely drained and totally exhausted from all the hard work that you’ve put in for the day. What do you need to pump yourself back up and get ready for some more pre-season training?

Although each rider is substantially different from one another, it’s important to at least try to follow some type of guideline when it comes to refueling your body for more practice and for the upcoming season’s races.

Energy Bars – Instead of eating chocolate, potato chips, or other junk foods, try eating an energy bar. Not only will these give you an extra boost of energy during practice or even on race day, but you’ll be receiving proper nutrition, vitamins, and minerals for your body. Just make sure to choose an energy bar that consists of fewer than 250 calories – try the Protein Candy Bar Store for the highest energy bar on the market. These are great if you are on the go as they are convenient and easy to eat!

Lean Meats – Try to eat skinless chicken, lean beef, turkey, etc. Feel free to consume some type of seafood as well such as salmon. Salmon contains one of the most important pieces of nutrition that you need while in training – fats!

Carbs and Whole Grain – Consume these two things at all costs! The reason is because they allow you to contain your energy for much longer at a time than other foods especially white bread. Lentils are an essential food in this category and provide you with a large amount of energy that allows you to perform for much longer intervals.

Fruits and Vegetables – If at all possible, eat organic fruits and vegetables. However, it’s not necessary. Why should you eat organics? The main reason is because it’s grown without all those synthetic ingredients – it contains much more nutrition, vitamins and minerals that you need in order to fuel your body and get it pumped up ready for another day out on the track.

What if you aren’t much of a fruit or vegetable eater? Well, that’s okay. Start by incorporating one fruit with your breakfast each morning or eat a fruit as a snack in the afternoon.

Most importantly, just start replacing all of your junk food that you normally eat with healthier choices. For example, try yogurt instead of ice cream. Try a bagel instead of a donut. Choose a fruit over potato chips or chocolate. Try water, Gatorade, iced tea, or something besides a soda.

By attempting to replace junk food with healthier foods, you will on your way to pumping your body with the proper fuel that it needs for you to adequately perform extensive training each day while getting ready for the upcoming season because we all know how quickly those junk foods can cause us to break down and become lethargic.

If you are as big of a motocross fan as me you will enjoy the all new 2XL supercross game. You will need an Apple Iphone or the Ipod to get this game application installed into the devise. If you log on to the Apple store today you will be able to download the trial version for free. Beware after playing the trial you will probably buy the full supercross 2XL version for only $7.99 for the complete application with all the tracks and custom bike setting to keep you entertained for hours.

That’s right, there’s finely a cool game that you can actually enjoy without getting dirty. One of the main designers for this motocross game is a former AMA supercross Lites champ Stephan Roncada aka RonRon. He has been designing some of the best motocross racing game since 1999. The first game he worked on was the famous Motocross Madness 2 for the home computer and it was by fare the best ever motocross online game.

This motocross game has great 5 star reviews, is one of the top selling iphone applications online at the Apple store and will soon be one of Stephan’s biggest accomplishments not including his Supercross Lites championship that he won. He should have won the AMA Outdoor motocross championship that year but Travis Pastrana ended up taking that title.

Its one easy game to pick up and play the turns our made by a tilting control that’s made into the iphone according to the action on the screen. Kanda of like you have handle bars. For the gas and brakes you have a button on the screen for these demands and can be adjusted for your liking. This application has some best looking graphics that you will find at the Apple store.

One more thing that is wonderful is that you can play the game pretty much anywhere at any time as long as your phone has a charge. It gets you write into the game action and it’s really one of my favorites to pass some time. I will give this Supercross game a 5 star review and can’t wait for the next version to be released to the public. Check out Stephane Roncada web site at ronronmx.com and send him your comments he will love to respond.
